Typical Manager 2026 is built on .NET 8. Your target environment must support .NET 8 before you install or migrate to 2026.
To ensure a modern, stable, and supported installation foundation, Typical Manager 2026 is based on .NET 8.
What this means for you
The installation of Typical Manager 2026 requires a target environment that supports .NET 8. Before you migrate, make sure that:
- Your workstations and servers can run .NET 8.
- Your IT team has approved or installed the required .NET 8 runtime on those machines.
Why this matters beyond Typical Manager The move to .NET 8 also affects which AutoCAD Electrical versions Typical Manager 2026 supports. See Article 4.4 for the full list of supported AutoCAD versions and Article 5.3 for the .NET platform background.
Before you start the migration
- Confirm that your target environment supports .NET 8.
- If you are not sure, consult the Typical Manager System Requirements or contact the Support Desk.
- Do not start the migration until .NET 8 support is in place.
