Typical Manager 2026 supports AutoCAD Electrical 2025 and 2026 only. A number of older AutoCAD versions are no longer supported. This article explains the change and what to do.
Because Typical Manager 2026 is based on the .NET 8 platform, the list of supported AutoCAD Electrical versions has changed.
Supported AutoCAD Electrical versions for Typical Manager 2026:
- AutoCAD Electrical 2025
- AutoCAD Electrical 2026
AutoCAD Electrical versions that are no longer supported in Typical Manager 2026:
- AutoCAD Electrical 2015
- AutoCAD Electrical 2017
- AutoCAD Electrical 2018
- AutoCAD Electrical 2019
- AutoCAD Electrical 2020
- AutoCAD Electrical 2021
- AutoCAD Electrical 2024
These versions remain supported in the previous release, Typical Manager 2025.
If you are not yet ready to upgrade your AutoCAD Electrical installation, you can continue to use Typical Manager 2025, which keeps support for the older AutoCAD versions listed above.
What to do before migrating to Typical Manager 2026
- Check which AutoCAD Electrical version your users are working with.
- If it is not 2025 or 2026, plan the AutoCAD upgrade before migrating Typical Manager.
- If you cannot upgrade AutoCAD yet, stay on Typical Manager 2025 until you can.
- If you are unsure about the correct sequence, contact the Support Desk.
