Read this article before starting any Typical Manager migration. It explains our approach to new releases and what to expect.

At Yellax, we always aim to make new versions of Typical Manager feel as familiar as possible. Your existing data, workflows, and configurations are important to us, and we do everything we can to preserve them when you upgrade.

However, every new release also brings improvements. Sometimes these are driven by new features, and sometimes by a change in our vision or product strategy. Because of this, some functionalities may be changed, replaced, or removed between versions.

What this means for you:

  • Always read the migration document that matches your specific upgrade path
    (for example, 2024 → 2024.1, or 2025 → 2026).
  • Pay close attention to any section that describes a change in behaviour or in platform requirements
(such as SQL Server, AutoCAD Electrical, or .NET).
  • Consult the Typical Manager help section for details and examples of new features.
  • When in doubt, contact the Typical Manager Support Desk before you start your migration.
