Not sure which migration document to follow? Use this article to identify the correct path from your current Typical Manager version to the version you want to upgrade to.

Typical Manager migrations are designed to move you one release forward at a time. If you are several releases behind, you will need to migrate step-by-step, in order.

  • Step 1 – Identify your current version
Open Typical Manager and check the version number (for example, 2024, 2024.1, or 2025).

  • Step 2 – Identify the version you want to reach
This is usually the latest available release of Typical Manager.

  • Step 3 – Follow the path
    From versionTo versionFolder to use
    20242024.1Folder 2 – Migrate from Typical Manager 2024 to 2024.1
    2024.12025Folder 3 – Migrate from Typical Manager 2024.1 to 2025
    20252026Folder 4 – Migrate from Typical Manager 2025 to 2026

  • Step 4 – Check the prerequisites
Some migrations have a minimum source version. For example, migration to Typical Manager 2026 is only supported from Typical Manager 2025 version 5.4.2517.0 or newer. Always check the folder for your target version before you begin.

Chained migrations
If you need to move multiple versions forward (for example, from 2024 directly to 2026), you will go through each migration in sequence:

    2024 → 2024.1 → 2025 → 2026

Complete each step fully before moving to the next.
