How to read this table

  • Typical Manager 2026 supports AutoCAD Electrical 2025 and 2026 only.
    AutoCAD 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2024 are not supported in this release.
  • Typical Manager 2025 continue to support the older AutoCAD versions listed above. If you are not ready to upgrade AutoCAD, you can stay on Typical Manager 2025.

Why the supported list narrowed in Typical Manager 2026 Typical Manager 2026 is built on the .NET 8 platform. Only AutoCAD Electrical 2025 and 2026 are compatible with this platform, which is why support for earlier AutoCAD versions has been removed in this release. For more background, see Article 5.3.

Typical planning scenarios

  • Still on AutoCAD 2019 or 2020: You can continue using Typical Manager 2024.1 or 2025. Upgrade AutoCAD to 2025 or 2026 before moving to Typical Manager 2026.
  • Already on AutoCAD 2025: You can migrate all the way through to Typical Manager 2026 without changing your AutoCAD version.
  • Planning an AutoCAD upgrade: Move to AutoCAD Electrical 2025 or 2026 to stay compatible with current and future Typical Manager releases.
